My quandary defined
As I wrestle internally with where my allegiance lies this election year, a Saturday WSJ op-ed piece gave me pause. It posits that conservatives may decide that we can’t vote for McCain for any number of reasons but that we could not with any credibility claim that helping to elect a liberal President will further the causes that we claim to believe most deeply in.

Vote for Obama?
For the first time in my short political existence I am actually considering voting for a Democrat. With Romney almost certainly out of the hunt coupled with my undefined dislike for McCain, I would consider casting my vote for Obama. However I would like to have some reason to believe that he would govern from the center if elected.
